     OPERATION DEER DROPPINGS

Operation Deer Droppings has executed the first phase when 50 boxes were dropped to Uncle Sams mailing services on their way to our braves. Our club has provided funds to cover most of the expenses and other members and sponsors have donated too. We sent Jerky, munchies, and other goodies. Send us addresses of deployed relatives or people you know so we can 'drop' them a package. We are working with the Taylor VFW post 4422 like we did in June for OPERATION SHOW THEM WE CARE (see below).   Moment of Silence

With sympathy we remember fallen Taylor auxiliary police Lt. Dan Kromer killed in the line of duty Sept. 7 2010 when he was struck by a car on westbound I-94. We are greatful for all the support that Dan has provided over the years to our club.

  Congratulations to :
Member Teresa Meyer shooting in Australia (per USAShooting)
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (July 27, 2010)

Meet Teresa Meyer, this year’s national title winner in both Women’s Air and Women’s Sport Pistol. This Ohio State University (OSU) graduate was the 2008 OSU Female Athlete of the year, as well as the 2008 NRA Collegiate Pistol National Champion in both Air and Sport Pistol.

Meyer began shooting at 10-years-old while tagging along with her father to the range. She now shoots a Steyr LP10 (Air) and a Pardini SP (Sport) with H&N Finale Match pellets and Eley ammunition. On the way to the range, you can find Meyer listening to oldies, Christian rock, and country music. Meyer also enjoys the thrill of hunting white tail deer and is interested in hunting for both elk and mule deer.

Meyer has persevered to continue shooting post-college and is currently a Resident Athlete at the Olympic Training Complex in Colorado Springs. She advises junior shooters to, “Find a network of people willing to help you and listen/watch more experienced shooters.” Good luck Teresa Meyer!
