Items of note about shooting -
4/27/06 - Did everyone get their results from the Sectional in Flushing? Looks like the Taylor members all did quite well. Congrats to everyone who went there. The venison chili was especially good. Pat even sent checks out right away. Everyone getting ready for outdoors?
2/3/06 - I got an invite to a couple matches this summer. I went to one last year. It was pretty good, it was well run, it was a nice day, they had a good lunch available. I even won one of the events. But you know, it was about 6 months ago and I've asked 2-3 times about my little prize. Its not like I need the $2-3, but its the principal. I look at my invite, and Im just not as excited as I should be. I think I'll take my $40 entry fee this year and blow it all on bullets at the outdoor range. I'll even have enough left over for a nice steak. Guns, beef and summer time! Are ya with me?
9/30/05 - Congratulations to member Don 'Colonel' Gundy shooting down in Kentucky for Team AimPoint. Rumor is he had to leave some awards behind because they wouldn't all fit in his truck.
4/18/05 - I'll be leaving for Texas to run in the Big Bend Open Road Race (BBORR.com). Not shooting related, but your web master likes it.
3/28/05 - Did everyone get their results from the Flushing sectional? Congratulations to all the shooters whether they won $$ or not. If you didn't have a good time, you need another hobby.
3/24/05 - A proud father and rightfully so, Garth tells us that at the collegiate championships, Teresa was named to three 2005 NTA all-american pistol 1st teams: air pistol, standard pistol, & sport pistol. She was also honorable mention in free pistol, which she started shooting in September 2004.
6/30/04 - 2004 National Championship at Ft. Benning TPC member Teresa Meyer shot 728 to take Gold in the 10 meter Junior Pistol, an 824.8 to take Silver overall in Womens 10 meter pistol. Teresa also took Gold in the 25 meter Pistol Junior Womens class.
5/27/04 - Final Team Olympic Team Selection TPC member Teresa Meyer shot well enough to take High Junior and was invited to the 2004 Nationals.
3/17/04 - 2004 National Junior Olympics TPC member Teresa Meyer shoots a 631.5 to take silver in the 25 meter Pistol catagory.
